Check out AMP’s New Features! Security, Awards, Bestowals, Customization

The AMP Team has been hard at work, and I bring you news this evening of the newest AMP features and updates. The updates in AMP version 1.5.10 create a smoother and more secure user experience for site security, award processing, bestowal management and delegation to staff, and customization for saved views and filters.

New features that everyone will see:

New Security options from your profile! This new feature allows you to
- trust personal devices
- log out of all devices
- stop trusting specific devices
- set up a device quick unlock
Total overhaul of the AMP User Guide
- includes documentation and walkthroughs of all the new features
- includes brand new Quick Reference links
Office history on member profiles now includes an expandable listing of the warranting history for the term
All filters and search boxes are now improved to handle special characters like thorn and accented characters
Saving custom views of the AMP calendar is now smoother

Features that other types of users will see:

Admins can now use AMP to request a new upload of membership info – this is when uploads are blurry or missing info, and it’ll send an email to the user and add an item in the user’s Action Items
Seated Nobility have a even more improved interface for managing recommendations – this includes things like grouping, checklists for court prep To-Dos, the ability to delegate scoped views to staff, and court agenda helper tools

Behind the scenes features:

Extending the term of an office now automatically requests a warrant extension behind the scenes
Bug fixes and improvements to how custom views and filters are saved/reloaded
Improvements to the authorization workflow that is more robust at handling failed auth requests
Improved validation of files uploaded as waivers, proof of membership
Huge updates to developer documentation and API references
