Proposal for Changes to the Recurring Events
Their Majesties seek feedback from the populace of Ansteorra regarding a proposed change to the recurring events table and other recurring events section of kingdom law. This proposal is aimed to give the artisan community a more static time frame for events which require significant thought and planning to demonstrate their art to the fullest. Additionally, giving artisans a specific date each calendar year will promote growth in each of these areas.
- Middle Eastern Dance Championship to be added to recurring kingdom events and anchored to Laurel’s Prize
- Eisteddfod to be added to recurring kingdom events and anchored to Kings College

Removal of Royal Middle Eastern Dance Competition and Eisteddfod from Section 2, Subsection 2, C,
- Subsection 2: Other Recurring Kingdom Events
- C. Additional Reoccurring Kingdom Events include: Academy of the Bow, Academy of the Rapier, Academy of the Sword, Eisteddfod, Royal Middle Eastern Dance Competition, Sovereign Champion, Royal Hunter, Royal Lancer, Royal Blade, and Royal Thrown Weapons Champion.
Table J adjustment to read:
- J. Groups that host a Reoccurring Kingdom Event shall contribute a portion of the net profit of the event to the kingdom, as described in the following table:
- Protected – Kingdom Collegium & Eisteddfod – 50
- Protected – Laurel’s Prize Tourney & Kingdom Middle Eastern Dance – 50
