Archery Practice is held once a month, usually at Carter Park in Spring, TX. Carter Park features a 12-lane archery shooting range with target distances from 10 yards to 70 meters. A fence encloses the shooting area and includes a 40-foot by 100-foot pavilion that covers the shooting line, as well as several picnic tables and benches. Practices start at 9 AM and go to 11 AM or until we get tired of shooting and are followed by a visit or lunch.  As always, the dates are subject to change as the kingdom calendar or the marshal’s availability. Please check the Stargate Facebook page or contact the Archery Marshal to confirm practice is being held. All practices are weather permitting and note that crossbow shooting is now allowed at Carter Park. The current proposed dates for 2026 are as follows. Stargate Thrown Weapons Practice

CURRENTLY ON HOLD

Stargate’s thrown weapons practice is on the third Sunday of each month at 9:30am-12:30pm. Come learn to throw knives, axes, etc., and enjoy social time. Practice is held at 23019 FM 2100, Huffman, TX 77336 – GPS 30.0105239, -95.0941375). We are in the field back towards the back, past the office suites.
