You should learn from the past – and we did! So much fun, we have to do it again. Come join the Shire of the Shadowlands for various shenanigans and classes, followed by a ball and sideboard feast in the evening.
Many classes in various arts related to scissors and/or fire. Detailed class schedule is below and includes fee information.
Event registration: $20; Member discount registration: $15; Minors (under 18) – free. Event registration includes the Saturday evening sideboard. Make checks payable to SCA Inc. / Shire of the Shadowlands.
Site: Opens at 5 PM Friday and closes at 10 AM on Sunday. There are flush toilets and additional porta-cans available. There are no shower facilities on site. Service animals only. Alcohol in period containers is allowed. Lots of parking available across the road from site. Handicapped parking spots are available near the hall. There are no RV hookups. The hall is air-conditioned / heated. Camping is encouraged. The hall has tables and folding chairs.

Directions to Site: 7.5 miles SW of Caldwell, TX is the intersection of State Highway 21 W and Farm to Market 60 S. Turn from Highway 21 onto FM 60 S. Go 2.4 miles to FM 111 and turn right. Hermann Sons Life Deanville is on your left in 0.4 miles. Link to Google Maps.

- 10 PM Friday – Gate closed
- 8 AM Saturday – Gate opens
- 8:45 AM – Herald announcements for changes in schedules or activities
- 9 AM – Classes begin – schedule link above / Escape room opens / Children’s activities open
- 11 AM – Children activities close for morning
- 1 PM – Children’s activities open
- 2 PM – Gate closes / Children activities closed
- 4 PM – Escape room closes / White scarves circle
- 5 PM – Sideboard feast opens
- 6 PM – Court
- 7 PM – Dance begins (or will start right after court)
- 8 PM – Quest ends (an hour after dance starts)
- 9 PM – Dance ends (about two hours after dance starts)
- 10 AM Sunday – site closed
