Rapier

Did you grow up with swashbuckling stories and movies? Did you long to know what it meant to be, as Shakespeare called it, “the very butcher of a silk button”? Did you long to be a musketeer? Rapier is also known as fencing or light fighting. There are many different forms and techniques used throughout the ages. If you love the sound of swishing swords and graceful footwork, come learn at one of our weekly practices.

No prior experience or equipment is necessary. Please wear closed-toed shoes. Tie long hair or beards back and bring water. Groin protection is required in order to progress past basic training, regardless of gender.

Time: 5:30 PM Sundays (check the calendar for current information)

Location: Aggie Park next to Kyle Field (can park in lot across the street)
