Lampworking is a glass technique dating back past the Vikings. It involves heating long rods of glass in a flame to create beads, buttons, sculptures, and more. If you enjoy playing with fire, color, and light, Lampworking Guild can show you how to mix all three.
No prior experience or equipment is required. You do not need to bring anything for your first time doing glass, but if you decide to continue we do ask you to purchase your own glass and gas canisters. We will help you figure out how to do this at your first meeting.
Please wear long pants, clothing with all natural fibers, closed-toed shoes, and tie up long hair or beards.
