It is our usual medieval clothing and joint fighter practice, but for the food we have the theme of PIE! We will be in the gym, the entrances directly into the gym are on the corner of 13th & Cincinnati and also the southeast corner of the building (from the parking lot south of the church). There is plenty of room, so bring your favorite pie to share and come hang out. This is a high visibility location, as all the church's Wednesday night classes are during this same time. Grub and Garb is an attempt at showcasing what the SCA is like on a "daily basis". While garb (medieval clothing) is obviously always appreciated at Fighter Practice, on Grub and Garb nights we try to press the subject of wearing garb, specifically nicer garb, to attempt to inspire both colleagues and newcomers. Grub and Garb is done as a potluck dinner and each attendant is encouraged to bring something they enjoy to contribute, especially period pieces they can document. Contribution is not required but definitely adds to the Baronial fun! Newcomers are welcome at all activities, garb is not required. See more details Youth Combat Practice Youth Combat Practice December 4, 2019 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm Boston Avenue United Methodist Church, 1301 S Boston Ave, Tulsa, OK 74119, USA Northkeep's Youth Combat Practice provides a safe and fun environment for the youth of the Barony from ages 6-17 to participate in martial activities, which mirror the adult combat practices, at an age-appropriate level. Our program stresses good sportsmanship and requires significant parental participation. In the case of foul weather, and indoor location will be announced via the Northkeep Facebook page and the Northkeep Discussion List.
