About the Treasurer

The Treasurer oversees the financial activities, bookkeeping, and reporting of the barony; maintains and updates financial policies; and leads the Financial Committee. As a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, it is vital that we are good stewards of our funds.

How to Participate

Our Treasurer is always happy to review our books with any member of the populace. An appointment is requested, especially during Covid-19 restrictions.

The Barony of Namron’s Financial Committee consists of the Landed Nobility (1 combined vote), the Treasurer (1 vote), the Seneschal (1 vote), and two members-at-large who each have 1 vote. All voted measures must pass by at least a 3 out of 5 majority. There are some restrictions for participation, particularly that no immediate family members may serve on the committee together, with the exception of the Landed Nobility who share their vote.

Submitting Event Bids

Our populace members have the most exciting and creative ideas for events! If you are interested in being the Event Steward for a future event, the Treasurer can provide you with the attendance and budget information that you will need. Please send event bids to the Financial Committee.

Proof of membership (Family or Sustaining) must be submitted to the Local Seneschal, Northern Regional Deputy Exchequer, and Kingdom Officer Applications Coordinator.
