Make your best way to Oklahoma City
From I-35 take Exit 136 towards Hefner Road
West for .8 Miles
Enter site at Gate #1 on the North side of the road.
Site is wet in period containers.
As a reminder – due to this- RVs will not be allowed.

Minors must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. They may also attend with a 21-year or older adult with a signed and notarized Minor Event Waiver form from the parents.
This event is held and managed by the Barony of Namron, a branch of the Society for Creative Anachronism, Inc. and is considered the official presence of this group here.

Championships:
Youth: Will last approximately one hour. ***Parents must be present with child/children during the competition***
Adult: Will follow Youth Competition. Bows or Crossbows can be used. You must sign in NO later than 15 minutes after the start of the shoot.

Bring your best two pieces to present to the judges.
The finalists will perform their absolute best for their Excellencies and the populace just before court to determine Namron’s Champion. The theme for the event and the competition is Beltane Bright Fire.

Bring your best for this brewing competition.
To enter we ask for one 12oz beer bottle, or one wine bottle or an equivalent swing top bottle with a label to identify the style and the submitter’s name. Also please include a list of ingredients in case of food allergies.
We will have a panel of judges narrow down the top 3 entries for Their Excellencies to pick from for the best of show.
Throughout the day, those wishing to compete for the title of the Fool of Namron will try their best to entertain the populace. Populace members will be given bells to give out the person who entertains them the most.
Shortly before court, the two with the most bells will perform before Their Excellencies.
Youth: 1 hour
Adult: Beltane 2022 Thrown Weapons
This year’s thrown weapons tournament is gonna be HOT 
For Beltane’s Thrown Weapons Tournament we are going to focus on accuracy and distance.
We will have 3 lanes, 1 axe lane and 2 knife lanes. We will be throwing at playing cards to test your accuracy for both knife and axe. The second knife lane will test your ability to change between distances from 1 rotation all the way to 3. You must sign in NO later than 15 minutes after the start of the shoot
Activities:
The Spang is a species of fabric frog that lives only in the unique habitat found in the Barony of Namron. Bring your spang dressed in its finest and be ready for Spang Hewing! More information and patterns to make your own Spang for the Spang Decorating Competition here.

What is fire?
Create an item, song, poem, etc that expresses Fire – how it makes you feel, what do you think when you hear Fire, or what it means to you, etc
- Items can be created with any medium and we encourage creativity with the themes and materials
- Please include a short description of your item and what was your inspiration
- Entries do not have to use period materials
Children’s activities are being planned.
Under the age of 5 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
