Feast Menu
Mac Cael’s Kitchen is proud to offer two distinct tasting experiences for your feasting pleasures at our celebration of the 40th Anniversary of the White Scarf. The Billy GOAT Tavern will offer Old World comfort foods in an easy-to-eat style sure to sate the appetite of any musketeer, while the Broken Blade Tavern will showcase items freshly acquired from the New World to spice up any Buccaneer’s palate. Feast grants you access to both taverns.
The Billy GOAT Tavern menu:
Bangers and Mash – grilled sausage and potatoes on a skewer, with fresh mustard
Deconstructed Irish Stew – everything a hearty stew offers….on a stick!
The Broken Blade Tavern menu:
Jerked Chicken with papaya salsa – grilled spicy chicken served with a sweet, tangy salsa
Smoked pork with Island Slaw – slow cooked pork paired with a spicy cabbage slaw
Breads and butters with be available for all as well as assorted marinated and pickled veggies.
Gingerbread and other sweets will be featured on the desert trays.
Tournaments:
Don Christoforo Antonio Passavanti Memorial Tournament:
To honor our fallen brother, Don Christoforo Antonio Passavanti, we will host a tournament open to all authorized adult fighters. Display your prowess and honor as we remember a true soldier, scholar, and courtier at the Ruby Anniversary.
Tournament will be single pass, double elimination.
Novice Tourney:
Open to any who have been authorized as an adult rapier fighter for 18 months or less. Test your mettle against other newer fighters.
Tournament will be single pass, double elimination.
Youth Rapier Tournament:
Youth rapier fighters will be given an opportunity to showcase their skills. The Baron and Baroness of Loch Soilleir will also choose their Youth Rapier Champion.
Format will depend on number of competitors.
Cut and Thrust Tournament:
A tournament fought for joy, with a winner declared by the acclaim of the combatants.
Format will depend on number of competitors.
Tournament of the Black Blade:
Sponsored by Lord Santiago Rodrigo y Draco de Aranjuez & Lady Leandra Forte. Single bout, single elimination tournament for the greatest prize: bragging rights! The first in a series of tournaments, come vie for the honor of claiming victory over all comers.

Bardic Circle
In honor of Don Cristoforo, we will be hosting an open bardic circle following feast. While we encourage pieces fitting the theme of the day (rapier, archery) all pieces will be welcome. A special token will be presented to the piece most fitting the day.
