Chivalric Tournament

Greetings one and all!
Come do your best to claim the chivalric championship in the name of the Baronies of Loch Soilleir or Stargate!

We want 💫PANACHE💫!
We want 💥POWER💥!
But most of all we want YOU!
Their Excellencies will be choosing their chivalric champion based on Honor, Chivalry, and Style (of course it never hurts to be the one having lots of fun!) in the tourney.

Format: A timed Bear-Pit tournament with a twist: one MUST enter the field with a different weapon style than what they left with, so make sure to bring plenty of toys (or at least 2).

Rapier Tournament
Come and vie to be the Rapier champion of Loch Soilleir or Stargate! The tournament style will be a Bearpit that you change what style of weapon you bring every time you leave the pit.  You are expected to bring as many styles out as you can, and there will be some extra gear out for those who need. Their excellencies will be watching for skill, grace, honor, and joy on the field.

We look forward to seeing you!
Don Santiago Rodrigo de Draco y Aranjuez, outgoing Loch Soilleir champion
Lady Layla Bint Yusuf, outgoing Stargate champion

Equestrian Tournament

Are you ready to get stabby?? We are focusing on Mamluk training exercises.

There will be lance and spear targets, reed cutting, and at least 2 different mounted archery targets. Bonus points available for speed and style. There will be some time set aside for practice and authorizations.

You do not have to compete for score, but riders who are will go first when the competition begins. Baronial champions are expected to run their portion of the competition the following year.

Proof of current negative Coggins required on all equines.

Archery Tournament
Format

Archers of Ansteorra attend! I have created a tournament that will test your speed and accuracy in target and combat archery. The combat archery round will require gloves, I will provide the crossbow and bolts for you to use. I look forward to seeing all of you on the range!

In Service,
Nikolai

Artisan Demo

In addition to the tournaments of the day, we are seeking teachers or those willing to host an interactive demo for this event. Regardless of your area of expertise: scribal, bardic, fiber arts, metal working, glass, culinary – you name it – we want You there! Questions about art demos or classes should be directed to Lady Morina or Baroness Hennessey (baroness@loch-soilleir.ansteorra.org).
The Artisan sign-up form is located here.
