Greetings to the Barony!
We’ve been having great weather for outdoor activities. The cool Spring breezes continue to keep us cool, but those won’t last long. Be sure to bring lots of water and sunscreen to daytime events!
Our Co-Baronial Spring events are upon us and we still need volunteers. Be sure to get with the autocrats to see how you can help! If you have award recommendations for our May 5th event, get those submitted ASAP, and please CC us.
The April 21 st event will be a Shakespearian theme with Stargate being the main host and our Barony providing the feast. Our event on May 5th will be based on the “Revolt of the Comuneros”. A Spanish themed event based around the uprising in 1521. There will be some great scenarios and themed items to get the general populace interactive with all the activities! We’ll be choosing several champions at this event.
We continue to have the “populace in the park”, when Mother Nature allows us, where we make the third Tuesday practice of the month a social event. Come on out and bring your arts, sciences, stories, songs, instruments along with your swords! Bring your mosquito spray as well!
We have also begun hosting the combined fiber and metalworking Sundays at our place. These are brought up at populace and posted on the Facebook pages each month.
We’ll be scheduling a pavilion painting day pending schedules. More information to be provided at populace meeting. If you’re interested in participating, please show up to May populace.
We have lots of kingdom events coming up as well. We hope to see our members out and abroad in the
Kingdom! Our upcoming schedule is still undetermined aside from our events.
