As we Blaze through May dragging April showers and pushing towards June (the precursor to Summer in Ansteorra)

Behold the News of the Heralds.

We are taking applications for the following offices ! All of these offices are two year terms with the exception of Zodiacus, which can extend longer as needed.

Star Principal Herald – This office will be filled after consideration and interviews with the Crown, with transition of the office taking place in October of 2026  – Please review the College of Heralds Administration Handbook –
Section 3 ADMINISTRATIVE ARM OF THE COLLEGE, sub sections 1, 2, and 3.

Sec C Regional & Principality Heralds
Including Sec C;1 e  –   Principality Herald – In addition to the above Regional Herald duties and responsibilities, a Principality Herald will serve as the Greater Officer of the Principality according to the Principality’s Laws and customs.  Principality Heralds may also have some of the duties as Star Principal within the confines of their principality borders, upon approval of Star Principal.  

Zodiacus Herald  – Zodiacus Herald is responsible for the following duties in addition to those specified for all officers:
A.   Precedence Recording Duties — Zodiacus oversees the compilation and maintenance of the Ansteorran Order of Precedence. Zodiacus will keep the database updated based on the reports submitted.
B.   Precedence Publication Duties — Zodiacus shall ensure the Order of Precedence is updated and published at least every six months in a format the Star Principal Herald and Crown deem suitable. The constitutions of all Ansteorran awards, honors, and orders should be published as part of the OP, and made available to the Crown and the Principal Heralds of the other Kingdoms of the Known World.
