  • Youth and Family activities will be available in two 1.5 hour blocks:
    10:00AM-11:30AM
    1:00PM-2:30PM

Come join us at Youth Activities at KAS! Below is the schedule:

10-1130 am : “Painted Tiles in History”

Youth will be painting tiles based of pictures and patterns from Egypt, Rome, Greece, & Western Europe. They’ll take home their own trivet.

1-230 pm : “Historical Braids and Plaits”

Youth will be learning either a basic 3 strand plait or the 6 strand Hedeby braid. Depending on skill level. They’ll take home their own bracelet/braid.

Please join the Shire of Graywood for a fun filled day of activities during next month’s Kingdom Arts and Sciences!!

While the judges are busy doing their thing, we will have a myriad of activity tables set up within the Main Hall including:

* Youth and Family activities arranged by Muirenn Nia Ingen Nathi !

* Board Games available for all to share or you may bring your favorite games to challenge your friends.

* Tawny MacRaith will be demonstrating Arrow Making while Phocas of Bordermarch will be teaching how to make Plumbatas. He will have supplies on hand for making about 100 plumbatas, with a materials fee if $5 each.

* Our Central Regional Scribe, Delfina de Borja, will be hosting a Scribal Arts table. She will be bringing loaner paints and brushes as well as everything needed to paint charters. People are also welcome to bring their own projects if they wish.

* Block printing tables will be set up with a plethora of loaner blocks available to use. We will have some fabric squares available or you may bring your own fabric if you would like.

* Embroidery! Come learn how to use needle and thread to enhance your kit. We will have supplies on hand or you may bring your own projects to display or work on.

Additional tables will be available in the Main Hall for everyone to spend a relaxing day with family and friends!!

The Cadets of Ansteorra are hosting a tea for Her Royal Highness, Deanna, at Kingdom A&S.

We encourage all non-White Scarves in the Rapier community (and anyone interested in the Rapier community who doesn’t have a WS) to join us for a Wonderland themed get-together with tea, snacks, games, and some quality time with our Princess.

Take your best route to Hwy 69 in Tyler, TX.

From Hwy 69 / S. Broadway St. head east on E. Amherst St.            

Take a left (north) onto New Copeland Rd.               

Pollard UMC will be on the right.

The entrance to the parking lot is from the side street (Hudnall Dr.).

There is Handicap parking with access from main lot!

***Pollard UMC is a DRY and non-smoking (including vape pens) site***

Service animals on leash are welcome; all other animals must be kenneled.

Minors must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. They may also attend with a 21-year-old or older adult with a signed and notarized Minor Event Waiver from the parents.
