Welcome to Graywood!

Deep in the piney woods of the Kingdom of Ansteorra lies a wee shire. It is small but full of big personalities. If this is your first time to our site take a minute to look around and get familiar with some of the things we do and all the opportunities we have available for you to get to know us better as well as learn more about the history of the Middle Ages. Whether you are interested in learning about fighting or the arts, we are more than willing to help you on your SCA Journey, as well as learn along with you.

September brings the Autumn leaves

At this month’s populace, we discussed future interests for the shire. We will not be attending the Catfish Festival, and instead we are discussing attending a convention at the Garrison-Pitser Civic Center in Lufkin, Tx. A date for our annual Yule Festival is still trying to be tagged down for now. Our new hospitaler is creating flyers to be handed out at such events to help spread the word about the SCA and the Shire of Graywood.
