Deep in the piney woods of the Kingdom of Ansteorra lies a wee shire. It is small but full of big personalities. If this is your first time to our site take a minute to look around and get familiar with some of the things we do and all the opportunities we have available for you to get to know us better as well as learn more about the history of the pre-seventeenth century. Whether you are interested in learning about fighting or the arts, we are more than willing to help you on your SCA Journey, as well as learn along with you.

Fellowship of Graywood
The Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA) is an international non-profit 501(c)(3) volunteer educational organization. The SCA is devoted to the research and re-creation of pre-seventeenth century skills, arts, combat, culture, and employing knowledge of history to enrich the lives of participants through events, demonstrations, and other educational presentations and activities.
Ansteorra is comprised of most of Texas and all of Oklahoma. It is sectioned into smaller, more manageable groups centered around larger cities throughout Texas and Oklahoma. The Shire of Graywood is centered around the cities of Lufkin, Nacogdoches, and Tyler, Texas.
