It has been an honor to have served you as your Baronial Herald for the past (almost 2 years), however my time is coming to an end. As announced at the business meeting, I am now opening my office for applications today, October 15th 2023, with the close to be December 15th 2023.
Training for the position, for any interested applicants will start on Tuesday, October 31 2023, and will continue until the transition is complete on January 15th, 2024. We will be using the (Un)official Herald’s Text Book, which I can provide digital copies of. Training will also include Voice Heraldry (including Court Heraldry), and the basics of Name and Device Heraldry (I will remain available for as long as needed to assist with either of these). There is also a physical library that is included in the transition (currently 5 totes of books, however, I will be pruning, and removing duplicates/out dated copies, to help with the load).
I will remain in my office until my warrant expires on January 15th, 2024. This one month time period will allow me to be able to transition my office and materials to my successor.
