That’s right! Join us via Zoom on Saturday as Ambrogio and Jean teach us how to make Mead without Equipment!
What: Virtual Class on Mead-Making
When: Saturday, 20 March 2021
Time: 3pm CDT
Where: Zoom! Get the link from our Baronial Calendar
Hear what the instructors have to say about the class:
A primer on making quality mead from the most basic components available. We will be explaining the practice and theory of brewing, and walking through making 1 gallon of a low ABV “short” mead. We will also explain how to expand into other brewing activities on a budget
No specialized equipment is required, and the vast majority of what you need can be found in your local grocery store. Materials and procedures can be found in the following class handout. Feel free to read ahead and acquire materials ahead of time if you want to follow along during the class: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1HzdXnuj2vQvIwdoy0TJyv8pAeBKIYZq1q6Z8ShHbmzA/edit?usp=sharing
Our core method is derived from this instructional video from The Modern Rogue. We’ve made a few minor adjustments to the methods, but it’s still a very good source if you want to explore it on your own: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2YwAvLru2ecAmbrogio and Jean
See you Saturday!
