A ship born house of trade is Montague
With sun white sailcloth unfurled ‘neath the sky
And but for en’my’s steel would live and do
The wrenching work of sailors by and by
For the wretched house of Capulet
Whose rapiers see more sun than sailing men
Doth make the seaborn trade a dicing bet
By sacking ship and drowning sailing men
Gentle people rally to our house
And there find food and drink and goodly grace
Take up not arms for Capulet the louse
Instead the banner Montague do brace.
For under flag of black, Capulet lies
And we, bold Montague, shall not lay by.

Instead see us as we are wont to do
To love, to trade, and serve well on the tide
For gold we have, embraced by gat and wall

Old Montague’s a relic of the past
His time has come and gone out with the sea
Their faded colors with our own contrast

Alcohol in period containers only. Minors must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. They may also attend with a 21-year-old adult with a signed and notarized Minor Event Waiver Form from the parents. Leashed pets are allowed on site and must be up to date on their vaccinations. Only service animals are allowed in the hall.

The Ancient Ones are smiling down on the lands of Bjornsborg. Valkyries will descend from Valhalla to hold trials of combat, strength, creativity and honor. Impress the Valkyries and Their Excellencies to earn your place among the heroes of Bjornsborg. After many decades, Baronial Champions shall be chosen by Their Most Ursine Excellencies for Chivalric combat, Archery, Youth Boffer and Skaldic (Bardic) to represent the Barony of Bjornsborg. Do you have what it takes to represent this Great Barony? Come prove yourselves on the Valkyrfelt (Valkyrie Fields), and earn your place in Odin’s Court. Letter of Intent are required to be considered for a Baronial Championship and should be sent to Their Excellencies of Bjornsborg prior to October 11 or delivered in person on the day of the event.
