Local Arts and Sciences Forms
These are some options for your local A&S competitions. Kingdom forms should only be used for Kingdom Arts and Sciences and are found here.
Local A&S Short Form
This form is designed to allow the group to judge a competition when documentation is not required.
Local A&S Documentation Form
This form is designed to capture documentation for items when requested, but the entrant has not pre-written their documentation.
Local Performance Short Form
This form was designed for performances outside of Kingdom A&S. These performances are for entertainment. You can use as many parts of the form as needed. The Kingdom A&S entries are a recreation of a period performance and may not be designed to entertain. An example is a Gregorian chant. It is meant to put one in a contemplative state for worship.

In 2024, the Kingdoms of Trimeris, Meridies, Gleann Abheann, and Ansteorra realized they had a mutual goal to improve the experience of entrants, not only for Gulf Wars but for our individual Kingdoms by creating and documenting objective criteria for A&S.
Many SCA participants in the Southern states play between Kingdoms. A unified judging criteria allows artisans to participate in events cross-kingdom. The following is a judging form with an included judging criteria guild grouped by A&S Type.
