Arts and Sciences is all about finding your passion. You can do something at a very basic level, or you can build your way all the way up to experimental archeology projects. Some people will tell you there is one right way and only one right way to do something. History is like a river, we are always turning over new stones and finding new ideas about the way people lived in period. Do what you love.
